Now, way back in week 1, we learned about the connections between the linear quantities. In particular, we noted four kinematic equations which allow one to solve for motion under constant acceleration.



Well, it turns out that since the angular quantities are exactly analogous to the linear ones, a completely analogous set of rotational kinematic equations connect them -- as long as the angular acceleration is constant.
