Q:  Saturn is 9.58 AU from the Sun.  What would we expect the
           temperature to be at this distance?

 
        A simple calculation for the equilibrium temperature of 
        a bare rock yields the expected temperature

                 T  =  90 K



  Q:  Does Titan's atmosphere raise its temperature in a major way?


        If the expected temperature is 90 K, and the actual surface
        temperature is 94 K, then the atmosphere may help a little 
        bit; but there is no really strong greenhouse effect.
