  - Dayal shows the code he has adopted

          can run simulations, modify code, run successfully
          code creates plots automatically
          can modify to print pos, vel, energy, etc. as necessary

  - goal for next meeting (Mon, Jan 24): simple Earth-Moon system
   
          modify the code to use realistic masses, positions, velocities
          create system of Earth and Sun only 
          start with simplified input conditions:
               Sun motionless at (0, 0, 0)
               Earth at (1.5e11 m, 0, 0) with velocity (0, 29400 m/s, 0)
          run for a period of 2 years
          use timestep of 1000 seconds

  - deliverables:
          a) verify that output is correct: Earth goes around Sun twice
          b) measure clock time for the simulation to run

  - stretch deliverables
          c) how does the clock time change with timestep?
          d) how well is energy conserved?  to 10%? 1%?  0.1%?
