Q:  I have used a camera based on the e2V CCD 231-84 chip, 
          which has 4096 x 4096 pixels.  If the readout time per pixel 
          is t = 2.2 microseconds, how long does it take to read 
          out the entire chip?


             T(tot) =  4096 x 4096 x  2.2E-6   seconds

                    =   37 seconds
