Q:  If the stars in these two clusters ought to have identical colors,
          by how much as NGC 6293 been reddened?  In other words,
          by how many magnitudes has its color been shifted to the right?


            In order to match the colors of the clusters,
            we must shift NGC 6293 to the left 

                reddening  =  approx 0.33 mag
