Two billiard balls, each of mass m = 0.3 kg, collide on a horizontal, frictionless table. Before the collision, one ball is at rest, and the other slides toward it at v = 5 m/s.
After the collision, one ball moves with speed v1 = 1.70 m/s to the northeast.
