Let's begin with a demonstration to review the notions of position, velocity and acceleration.
Now, on to some theory.
Today, we practice doing problems which involve motion in a single direction. Some of them can be complicated ... but as long as you take your time, they aren't too hard.
At the end of class, we'll use kinematics to measure the height of a ball held in one's hand.
