Answer: First Law: A body at rest stays at rest, and a body in motion continues in motion with constant velocity, unless acted upon by an external force. Second Law: When a force acts on a body, the body's acceleration is directly proportional to the force, and inversely proportional to the body's mass. F = ma Third Law: If a body exerts a force on a second body, the second body exerts a force of equal magnitude, but opposite direction, on the first.
