Linear and rotational quantities -- up to angular momentum

In the first 8 weeks of this course, we defined a number of quantities in the physical world and used them to understand the behavior of interacting objects:

In the past 2 weeks, we have found analogs for these quantities in the rotational world:

Linear Rotational
position x (m) angular position θ (rad)
velocity v (m/s) angular velocity ω (rad/s)
acceleration a (m/s2) angular acceleration α (rad / s2)
acceleration a (m/s2) angular acceleration α (rad/s2)
mass m (kg) moment of inertia I (kg * m2)
force F (N) = (kg * m / s2) torque τ (N*m) = (kg * m2 / s2)
momentum p (kg*m/s) angular momentum L (kg*m2/s)

This week, we continue the process, defining the angular quantities which are the equivalent to momentum.
