Latex Homework: Motion of an insect

Your assignment is to use LaTeX to create a document which looks as much as possible like this one:

• Motion of an insect (PDF)

Note that this document contains one table and one figure. You'll need to create a figure using some other tool -- such as Gnuplot or Excel or MATLAB -- and then refer to it properly within your LaTeX source code file.

Each student should type his own entire LaTeX source code document, using his own fingers.

• Do NOT cut-and-paste from someone else's text file.
• DO feel free to look at someone else's text file and then type something similar using your own fingers.

You must hand in, in hardcopy, stapled together

• the formatted version of your document
• the LaTeX source code of your document

The grading scheme will work like this:

 You submit pieces of paper:            5 pts
 Everyone in your section submits:      2 pts
 Your documents resemble the model:     3 pts

    total grade                        10 pts

It is to your advantage to work together with your lab partner and with all the other students in your section (or in other sections). Please do so; in fact, please do what you can to help other students, if you can.
